We weren't sure we could pull off a big bash this year as everything seems to be so hectic and time just seems to fly by. However, we had the 2nd annual Clancy Family BBQ on Saturday and it was a success. Technically it was not a BBQ because we decided against the grill to provide a more relaxing day for both Brett and I. Instead there were a number of crock pots going all day and enough desserts to leave us wired for a week. Everyone seemed happy with the choice of "woman" or "man" buns. In addition, a ridiculous amount of beer was consumed as well as a large orange container of "juice". There was no bag tournament this year although everyone enjoyed playing on there own.
The highlight of the party was rather late in the evening when Matt Christoff came outside and wanted to know if everyone knew that there were PB & J sandwiches inside. This may not seem funny to you, but the PB & J had been a topic of discussion all day especially for the mom that was there trying to get her child to eat one. Matt was very proud of himself at this discovery.
As of 11:00 the next morning, everyone was gone and we are left looking around in disgust. It was a great party, but now we are left trying to figure out was allover the kitchen floor...
