The entrance to Secrets is gated and therefore anyone coming or going must check in with the guard.
The road to resort's main building is about 3/4 of a mile from the gate. It is narrow and wooded on both sides which provide a home to lots of different wildlife, several of which we were lucky enough to get a glimpse of. 
The resort accommodated our request for the same room that we had when we were on our honeymoon. Here is an inside view of the sitting room, patio and pool. 
This was our room, on the ground floor and a very short walk from the pool and beach.
