Brett, the dogs and I are having a fab time in PA with the Brownlee Fam! We arrived safely and on Christmas Eve cooked an amazing meal for Mama Kate for her Christmas Eve birthday! Christmas was great (Mama Kate WAY overdid herself!) and the day after was full of good shopping! We are all sitting in the "New Room" watching the news, taking a snooze, and listening to the rain and thunder. I can only be thankful we aren't in IL where it seems to be more than a Winter Wonderland according to the weatherman. We're going to the Steelers game on Sunday - CAN NOT WAIT! - and headed for home on Tuesday.

Hope you had a great Christmas! you'll have to let me know how the web cam thing works out & if you'd recommend the one you got, my mother-in-law wants to get one for us...if we can get Jake to sit still long enough to look at the camera!! :)
it was truly a wonderful visit. it is amazing how a week can zip by when you are with loved ones. The turkey dinner was luscious- i think that brett would be the perfect son-in-law if he was in the pittsburgh area!!! marissa was like a child as she was getting ready for the big steeler game-stating several times that she was sooo excited that she could just pee her pants!!!i am so glad that santa was so good to them. if all you friends out in the chicago area think that Marissa & Brett fell off the face of the earth- it is because santa brought them a WII & i truly think that all other aspects of their life will be put on hold until they can play the guitar as good as the rock stars. i could go on & on about how much i miss them & the puppies- but i think they know. love, momma kate
